By hiring with us you are agreeing to the following terms.

 

1. Bookings


Bookings are made after full payment only, either at checkout via our website or with cash/card in studio.

Once a garment has been booked, there is no guarantee we can make any changes to the date/garment. Please check over your booking thoroughly before placing.


2. Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds under any circumstance, a store credit is offered in most cases. Store credits can be used for 12 months from the date of issue.

 

3. Payment

We take credit card or bank transfer for online payments, After-pay is available, for in studio bookings we accept card or cash.


4. Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning is included in the hire price.

Hire My Addiction is responsible for cleaning, please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself in any way. This may result in the loss of your bond or a fee.


5. Postage

In the event there are delays by Australia Post and the garment does not arrive in time for your event, we will not offer a refund. We are not affiliated with Auspost.


6. Store Credits

Our store credits can be used for 12 months from the date of issuance. After 12 months they will expire and can no longer be used, the rental date for the garment must also fall within this period.


7. Try-Ons

Booking a try-on does not guarantee that the garment is reserved for your date.

If you decide not to try on their garment before booking and upon pickup discover that it does not fit/don’t like how it fits, a store credit will NOT be issued, it is the client’s responsibility to try on first.


8. Rental Period

For hires via postage, the garment must be lodged back over the counter at a post office (not in a street posting box) on the date that is written on your return card by 12pm. A photo of your receipt must be sent to us via DM. Failure to do so will result in late fees at Hire My Addiction' discretion.

For pickup and drop-off hires, the garment must be returned in the same box/bag by the date written on your return card by 5pm unless an alternative arrangement has been made prior to booking. Failure to do so will result in late fees at Hire My Addictions' discretion.


9. Damages

If an item is damaged beyond repair, the full RRP of the item must be paid. We can arrange payment plans for this.

Clients acknowledge that they will be wearing second-hand items which have been rented by other clients. Therefore, refunds or discounts will not be given for minor wear which could be expected of a second-hand garment.
